I am going to be maintaining this account for archive purposes and generally because I'm lazy to move everything there. But I've transferred all of my spring reviews there. I still hope to see my friends here in the Live network in my other site.

Junjou Romantica - 06

So Nowaki asked Hiroki to meet him in front of the restaurant they frequented at seven. But his professor asked him to go with him to Narita airport to pick up the doctore that he worked with in New York. Hiroki went there thinking that if he let go a little bit of his pride, they would make up. It started raining and Nowaki was late because the flight from New York has been delayed, butHiroki waited until he figured that it was the answer that Nowaki is giving him. He went back to the university where he caught Miyagi there. Miyagi gave him a towel and started making fun of him. When he saw how truly hurt Hiroki was, he pulled him to him and tried to kiss him. Anyway, Nowaki came like a knight in shining armor and saved him then dragged Hiroki so they can talk. They ended up in the library (THE POOR BOOKS!!!) and they started talking. Nowaki said that the reason why he went away was because he felt that he needed to catch up with him because Hiroki is already accomplished. In the end, they have mansex in the library then Nowaki moved into Hiroki's new apartment where he ended up finding a bagful of letters Nowaki wrote Hiroki when he was in America. On their omake, Hiroki asked Nowaki when he told him about going to America and they flashbacked to the time when they were in a family restuarant when Hiroki was distracted by a paper that he needed to finish.

I really don't know how to react since I've already read the manga up until volume 5 so considering that this anime is very very loyal to the progression of the manga, it's no longer a surprise to me. But I have to say that they did this episode nicely with all the drama, dialogue and music they pulled together. I'm still peeved at the thought that they have guys so frickin' romantic here and all I get from this season's shoujo is an asshole (Naoki from Itazura na Kiss) and Lelouch if he went to live in a normal high school without an aspirations of destroying the Britannian empire (Kei from Special A). I have to say, like most other fans of Junjou, Hiroki and Nowaki (Junjou Egotist) is my favorite. Next week though, the story will be shifted back to Uasmi and Misaki (Romantica) which is not necessarily a bad thing but kinda boring because they will be going on their first date.

The episode started out with another one of Kotoko's delusional dreams of Naoki having no eyes for no one else other than her. Anyway, it's graduation (already?). Kotoko and Kin-chan was chosen to be the class representative for Class F. He did a couple of embarrassing things on stage which causes Kotoko to be mortified to get off the stage and trip. Naoki's mom wasn't any help either, shouting out embarrassing things during the graduation ceremony. Anyway, that night, Class F went out to a restuarant where Class A also had their party. Kin-chan went on stage to sing a song he wrote just for Kotoko - this must have been part of his "I-Love-Kotoko" plan. Of course, this was too embarrassing not only for Kotoko but for everyone in the restaurant. Anyway, Kin-chan's boss from work (Kotoko's dad) called to ask him to cover for one guy who was out sick. The Class A teacher made fun of Class F including Kotoko being the reason why Naoki is unable to get into Tokyo University. Naoki told him it wasn't her fault because he wasn't stupid enough to have an idiot get in the way of that would be much more embarrassing then proceeded to insult her. Fed up with Naoki's ass-like attitude, she showed everyone a picture of Naoki as a child (dressed as a girl), which all the girls from Class A and F. Angry, he drags Kotoko out of the restaurant into an alley. Kotoko still up for a fight, told him that she would start out clean when she gets into college and forget about him. In the end, he dared her to try by giving her a kiss.

Well... considering that the two of them are equally annoying people for different reasons, I was laughing half the time watching this episode. Seriously, I cannot find one likeable character in this entire anime... Watching this is like watching a terrible car accident where you know that all you will see are terrible things, but cannot help but see. I cannot believe that Kotoko is dense enough not to get a clue that she's been rejected by Irie. I cannot believe that Naoki finally had a chance to rid Kotoko off his life but he had to kiss her just to dare her to try, which I thought was purely motivated by make pride not because of any emotion - effin ass. But I have to say is the top annoying person in this episode is Kin-chan. But then again, he and Kotoko are pretty much the same - having too much delusions of the person they love. But hell... I would seriously kick his ass if he did that to me.

Special A - 06

The episode started out with chibi Takishima showing up at the Hikari's doorstep, offering her a job as Kei's escort to a party of a childhood friend of his (and Akira's), Yahiro. Yahiro has taken an interest in her and plays games with her, refusing to believe that Kei is nothing more than Hikari's rival. First he tried to kiss Hikari telling her that if Kei gets mad, Kei is in love with her. When she managed to get away, Yahiro cornered her telling her that if Kei is unable to discipline his girlfriend, he would and it would only be nicer if she just wear pretty dresses and smile at him. And when Kei came into Hikari's defense, Hikari gets all confused. After a game of reverse tag (where Kei was forcing Hikari to tell him what Yahiro told him that caused her to be all weird aroudn him) which Hikari wins, she forces Yahiro to acknowledge that she is Kei's rival. In the end, he asks about how Akira was.

I'm actually glad that this episode finally came out. I was on the verge of dropping this after watching episode 5 because I was starting to get bored with it (I still had the manga to make me happy anyway), thinking that nothing else will happen except the whole rivalry thing every damn episode. The thing is... the progression from the last five episodes were poor and that if I didn't read the manga, I wouldn't even know that Kei had a thing for Hikari. Also, this is the first episode where I had my first laugh when Hikari realized that Kei was holding her waist when he punched Kei.

Also, considering that this is probably the best episode of Special A I've seen so far (story-wise), I think that the primary artist who does Kei must have been on a day-off because I couldn't distinguish Kei half the time because there was something weird about the way his face was drawn. I mean, I know that the manga has been a little inconsistent in terms of their character designs but they could have made the animation more stable. Anyway, the last thing that bothers me here is that they made it look like Hikari is nothing but a baka with very little sensitivity to everything when she's very sensitive to people around her but is otherwise to things that involve her.

Vampire Knight - 06

Flashback back to when Zero was still a kid where his master, Yagari, saved him from a Level E vampire who was a beautiful nurse from his school, which resulted to his right eye injured. Yagari asked Zero if he still had enough reasoning to control his blood lust but Yuuki blocked his shooting range. The Chairman came and stopped them just in time. When Zero didn't show up the next day for class, she knew something bad must have happened to Zero. She followed Yagari-sensei to night class (where he was teaching Ethics). With her persistence, she learns that he was in the Chairman's guestroom. She went there and Zero told him about Yagari. She felt so much for him that time, she took him in the bathroom where she let him take blood from her, telling him that she will be his ally even if he started hating her. When she left, she was nervous when she bumped into kaname, afraid that he would see the bandage on his neck. But Kaname just hugged her. When she left, Yagari-sensei asked Kaname how can a vampire be so gentle to a girl. The next day, Yagari went to Zero's room and told him that his injury caused by a Bloody Rose would not heal so quickly if he didn't drink someone's blood and proceeded to point the gun at him. Yuuki came just in time to stop Yagari-sensei. But as it turns out, Yagari was checking if Zero still has the determination he had as a child and not taking the easy way out.

Well... after the total anti-climax at the end of Chapter 24, this is probably one of my most favorite chapters. Totally emo Zero is a totally hot Zero - which actually struck me as strange because I am not a big emo character fangirl. But I guess compared to creepy Kaname, no... Anyway, the episode was kinda badly done. Thick lines and all... compared to previous episodes, it took kinda sloppily done compared to the others. But I think Mirano Mamoru's delivery of all of Zero's emo speeches were incredible.

Kamen no Maid Guy - 05

Imagine... that for 1,800 seconds, you are rendered unable to move or close your eyes and all you see is the Fish Market Owner taking a bath. This is exactly what happened to Naeka's yuri stalker when she set up remote cameras around the Fujiwara household so she can spy on Naeka while she was taking a bath. This is one of Kogarashi's 38 senses - the maid Guy Voice! A new maid comes in... the older twin sister of Liz's maid who thinks that only she can help her sister and Liz be happy. Of course, they are no match for the Maid Guy - and along with the stalker and the male kendo club aka the Fujiwara Naeka Chichi Fanclub, this was nothing but hilarious.

PS. I will have to stop making summaries of this anime because most of them point out to total randomness. But I still find it fun.

Kyo Kara Maou Season 3 - 06 (84)

Actaully, the screen shot has nothing to do with the episode. I just lol-ed hard when I saw this...

Well, the sword thieves from last week finally have a name (The White Crows) and this group placed a man named Lanzhill on the throne of Dai Shimaron (Apparently, Belal didn't die after being possessed by Shoshou but was forced to abdicate when the country's influence declined with many other countries they have conquered starting to rebel). The seem to be out to steal as many holy swords as they can - with the exception of Alford, I don't know who else own such holy swords. MuraKen remembered the crest of the group - apparently, even Shinou was not even aware of it because it was something MuraKen saw in his previous encarnations. He and Conrad traveled to Dai Shimaron to investigate. Actually, it was strange that Conrad wanted to go considering that at last week's episode, The White Crows dangled the throne of Dai Shimaron to his face since he is a descendant of Shimaron's kings until they were defeated by the Belals. But knowing loyal Conrart Weller, he's just there to find out who the thugs were - unless he does a total turnaround which would be heartbreaking and sexy at the same time. Hahaha! Of course, Yuri-heika just has to come after them. He ran away with Wolfram to stowaway to Cheri-sama's ship where she reunited with Fanfan.

Anyway, though I am enjoying the series, it has become seemingly dry in comparison to the previous season considering that they defeated the big bad evil already. Everything just seems to be about politics and stuff that it's like watching a European version of Saiunkoku Monogatari. But the bishies here are bishier. But then again, KKM doesn't have Ran Shuuei. But I have Conrad as mancandy. Yay! Anyway, I'm just glad that things are starting to become interesting already.

Itazura na Kiss - 06

This episode pretty much spanned from January until the end of February. During the New Year, the two families went to the temple and got their fortunes for the new year. Kotoko got a great fortune and Naoki got a terrible one. And the misfortune begins. First, with a cold that Naoki gets, Kotoko gives him cold medicine that makes him drowsy, she nearly poisons him with Valentine's chocolates she made (she ate the samples, developed diarrhea, and decided not to give it to him), and on the day of his exams to get in Tokyo University, Kotoko went with him to the gates and collapses, having appendicitis. She tries to run away but Naoki talked to her through the window about her being his jinx - not that Naoki tried to stop her anyway.

OK, in this episode, the developing dislike I have for Kotoko has been confirmed. She's good for nothing - at anything. I mean, a person has some kind of talent (or a personality), right??? All she's good at is screwing up and praying for things to get better after she screws up. While Naoki is an ass, I cannot help think that it's because she's so dumb ~Nowadays, I am starting to understand his insensitive statements of not liking idiots.~ And she comes out really pathetic when she told him that she loves him... It's just sad. I mean, seriously... What will be Naoki's basis when he finally falls in love with her??? Sympathy for her persistence and pity for her trying so hard??? That's probably the worst reasons in the world. His mom is no help either with her determination to get the two of them together - at least his dad has high ambitions for him and wants him to get into Tokyo University. *Sigh* I can't help think that if I was still in high school, I would be eating this up. So that's what their year will be like... Her good fortune are his misfortunes. How can one even use that as consideration for falling in love with someone???

Junjou Romantica - 05

So we have shifted right back to Junjou Egotist. Nowaki has come back from America and of course, Hiroki is pissed off because Nowaki left without a work just a postcard saying that he was in America. Anyway, they made up, had mansex then Hiroki made an ultimatum that it was going to be the last time Nowaki was going to leave without even a note. And Nowaki left... with a note saying that he will be back. Anyway, Hiroki was so pissed he changed his address, home and cellphone number after sending a postcard to Nowaki in America saying that it was over. So Nowaki races back to Japan to confront Hiroki where he was told that it was over and saw Miyagi (seme in the upcoming Junjou Terrorist) fooling around with Hiroki making homo jokes.

Well... I'm glad that they are being true to the manga, but I guess reading it kinda spoils it for me. I'm not sure about which is my favorite story (Romantica/Egotist/Terrorist - actually, I've only read the first chapter of Terrorist because that's as far as the scanlations go so that's still out), but I read the manga out of curiosity ~I think I'm headed for yaoism - considering that the first yaoi I picked up - this - is very funny and enjoyable.~. Anyway, I enjoyed the omake at the end between Misaki and Usami, which probably means that they will not be showing up for the next episode or two since this arc of Egotist will go on for another episode of two (probably).

Code Geass Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 - 06

Well, this episode I am happy to report that we have come back to what Geass is supposed to be really be about: senseless violence, which is one of the original appeal of Code Geass anyway. I don't even know why Sunrise thinks that the Ashford Academy shit even have any appeal. So Rollo is now an ally of Zero, helping him out for ten seconds of talking to Nunally while freezing up Suzaku (who generally trapped Lelouch by letting him talk to Nunally to check if his memories have returned). So The Black Knights tried to get the new Governor-General (Nunally) but when she and Zero finally meet, he gets all frozen up and sentimental. Shit, what a pansy. Cool Knightmare fights. Karen's knightmare gets a very cool upgrade, it's like a god of mecha now - for some reason, I find Zino falling in love with her Knightmare piloting skills. Suzaku rescues Nunally and Zero got sucked outside while shouting out Nunally's name. Nunally heard him.

There aren't much WTF moments (not even a obligatory Karen fanservice shot, but then again with all the mecha fight sequences, the mecha heads would have enough to masturbate on for this week) because this is the moment of excellent senseless violence so this week, I will feature another thing that they cooly featured in this episode apart from the fact that have just proven to their audience that they are indeed a mecha anime... No, it's not all the knightmare frames (everyone else will undoubtedly done that already!) that they brought out, but the lolifest...

Anya has pink hair and red eyes. She prances around in an ourfit that exposes her midriff (when she is in that age where she technically and biologically have nothing to brag about. She is a member of the Knight of Rounds and pilots the very pudgy fugly Mordred. She is a total stoic character which made me think because stoicness is moe on guys but I don't know if it has any impact on the girls. She generally goes wherever Zino goes just to have something to write in her digital nikki.

Kaguya comes from some kind of aristocratic family in Japan before it was occupied and became Area 11. She has black hair, green eyes and refers to Zero as her husband. She walks around generally in traditional Japanese outfits. For some reason, she is the only loli where I will be truly sad if she dies within the series.

Tianzi is the empress of the Chinese Federation. She has silver hair and red eyes and is has never left the walls of the Forbidden City. She became friends with Kaguya when they were hiding out in the Chinese Federation when Zero disappeared and became good friends with Kaguya. She cries a lot. She generally has no use in the story but will be essential if the Chinese Federation will turn around and side with the Rebellion.

Nunally is one of the daughters of the Emperor of Brittania. She has brown hair and (?) eyes as she was blinded as a child. She's a cripple too riding around in a little wheelchair that looks kinda like a teacup. She is currently the Governor-General of Area 11. In the season, like her older brother, she wishes to create a world where she and brother can live together in peace. I have my doubts if I should consider her a lolli because she looks like a teenager already.

Actually, the next episode previews made me feel really excited because Lelouch is going into a mental breakdown that he's even turning into yaoi-ism with his ototo. Hahaha!

Seriously, they are standing too closely to each other. I don't care what other people say... Well, other people have said the same thing.

Wagaya no Oinara-Sama - 05

It was revealed in the previous episode that Miyako died giving birth to Tohru. Tohru knows the significance of a mother and feels sad because she's dead. Since Kuu has a liking to Tohru, just as much as she liked Miyako so she planned to have to open the border between two world to bring Miyako to them. Well, the land still belongs to the deity Ebisu so she has to pay a price for doing the taboo ritual in his land. His price was Kuu's hair - which he wanted to sell around as bracelets like what Tohru had. In the end, they were able to summon Miyako but only Kuu and Tohru can see them. Apparently, Noboru takes after his father and Kou passed out trying to defend boys by staying within the barrier.

Well, the story was definitely interesting. Though this is not really my genre of choice. But it's nice enough. Although to be honest, I am more looking forward to next episode when Sakura comes back with her delusions of Noboru living with Kuu and Kou.

Special A - 05

OK... after four episodes, I can no longer justify defending this anime and decided to drop it. But Hinano made an almost glowing review of the sixth episode (she watches them raw) that the main point of the anime is finally coming around so I decided to pick it up again - excited for the time that episode 6 will be subbed.

Anyway, this is the festival where Hikari teamed up with the Student Council becasue Kei insulted their ideas. In the end, it generally focused on Kei's loneliness and desire to have things done by himself cheating himself out of the fun. And Hikari's willingness to do things together with everyone else because it's funner that way. When Kei was shown the light by Hikari (no pun intended), he started asking other members of SA to help him out and the welcome reception for their school ended up a festival that Hikari enjoys very much.

The manga version was nicer. Watching this episode kinda left a bad taste in my mouth honestly. I honestly didn't know if they joined forces or it remained a competition. Generally, it focuses on Kei's loneliness and not much on the situation. Episode seriously disappointed me. Actually, I watched this last week, but as I mentioned, I have decided to drop it. Obviously, I have changed my mind because of the upcomign episode. I am looking forward to this very much.

Candy Boy OVA - 01

Yuki and Kanade are both late for school because they overslept (actually, Kanade woke up early but slipped back into bed when Yuki started talking in her sleep about Kana's meat. Like in the ONA, Sakuya (my season's most annoying loli) is still stalking Kanade to the point where she stole Kanade's umbrella - apparently, this girl even fawns over Kanade's leftovers. Anyway, the main point of the episode is Kanade wanting her and Yuki to once again share an umbrella like they did when they were kids so she waited for the weather forecast to give hr favorable results. Then there is (only) one day of possible rain but Kanade didn't have her umbrella in her locker. In the end, Yuki was the one with umbrella and the two went home together.

Well, I finally got around watching this. To be honest, I'm not really that interested in yuri. But with my currently in the experimental stages of yaoi, I decided to pick this up to. Hoenstly, I'm more interested in yaoi compared to yuri twincest. I think I'm starting to figure it out. Yaoi has the romance. Shoujo has the cute moments. And yuri has more sentimental stuff than shoujo. The thing is, I'm starting to think that this is not my genre. it doesn't give me the doki-doki points like how yaoi does. I think it has something to do with the fact that I went to an all-girls school and lesbian relationships are just ordinary to me, unlike yaoi and boys love. But the animation was done really so I'll probably continue on wiith my yuri anime experiment and watch it.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles 189 (WTF!?)

DAMN YOU, CLAMP!!! You have ruined my comfortable illusions that out of your characters, Li Syaoran and Kinimoto Sakura would be the most normal despite their ability to use magic. Now you're giving their son a mom-complex!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! And here all the fans thought that CCS was the sacred cow that you guys couldn't ruin with your twists! But as it turns out, we've been fucking screwed!!! I wish you guys just placed them in a different dimension with an alternate Syaoran and an alternate Sakura rather than screwing up with their series canon selves!!! :'( I'm so sad... the eye-eating was bad enough that I almost dropped TRC. I don't know what to do with this one. Grrrrrrrrrrrr....

Toshokan Sensou - 05

Well, Kasahara's family finally makes their appearance. Well... just her parents since usagijen reports that she has brothers from her manga reading. They seem to be checking on her and how she performs her job. I have to say with the limited doki-doki KasaDojo interactions, I really enjoyed this episode. Humor is up and as expected, the magic lies in the dialogue. Her father doesn't seem impressed with his daughter's performance, comparing her to Dojo and Tezuka who are expectedly reliable to the point where he wonders why she was even there. In a moment when a thief makes his escape, Kasahara stopped him by manhandling him with her father within sight. By that time, her mother wanted her to leave the library corps and just go back home to find another job. But her father came to her defense. And Kasahara was sorry to have lied to them in the first place.

I liked this episode. It's very funny. What really struck me as strange is that Dojo - who is the last person I expected - was going out of his way to help Kasahara. I mean, with the three boys, I expected Komaki to just laugh every moment off, Tezuka not completely lying but not saying anything incriminating against Kasahara and Dojo to just be straight forward with them about the truth. And it would seem that Dojo has just earned points from her dad. How cute <3

Zettai Kareshi - 03

OK, watching this episode last night made me so cravy over cream puffs. But of course, spending the day with JP (thank you for the coffee!) means that it's spent at Starbucks and their cream puffs are dry and pretty much tastes like paper.

Anyway, Riiko has just signed a 70-year plan to purchase Night who seems to want to spend 24/7 with her - well, he's programmed to. With her salary, Riiko encourages Night to also find work and he worked in places where she also had work like Asamoto Group and the bar Riiko frequents. Soshi, believing in Riiko's cream puffs asked her to go overtime for it so he can sell it in their Ginza branch, which the manager (an employee since the time of his grandfather) obliged. Of course, Mika (Riiko's whorish best friend - an archetype of Yuu Watase characters: the bitchy best friend) tries to get it on with Night but of course, Night is programmed to be with Riiko so she stirred the pot and told her that Riiko and Soshi were probably up to monekey business in the office. Night is starting to act like the "slightly" jealous boyfriend that Riiko requested. Anyway, the office had an outing to the hot springs that Riiko left when she heard that the Ginza store manager and Soshi were getting into trouble with Soshi's brother. While she was away, slutty Mika kissed Night therefore reseting Night's settings and when Riiko and Soshi got to the hot springs, Night declared himself as Mika's boyfriend.

Well, fans of the manga are actually in an uproar because of the sckewed depiction of the j-drama. Personally, I don't have a problem with it because I've never read the manga and considering that people said that it gets really weird and complicated around the middle, I never bothered. But I actually like this. My problem is with the actress who plays Riiko. She has a very limited range of expressions that you end up seeing it every 2 minutes. The actor who plays Night does nothing for me, but his character seems so unlikeable. Soshi, I like - my Hana Kimi loving self cannot deny me of that fact.

xxx-HOLiC Kei - 05

Fifnally xxx-HOLiC started featuring the meat of the story. Kohane-chan. She and Watanuki met each other under a cherry tree under the park and felt like like that the two of them were the same. But Kohane is a TV celebrity because of ther ability to exorcise demons and has a uber-protective stage mother who doesn't like people going near her fearing that touching her would diminish her powers. Anyway, she was at the sakura tree because she was to exorcise a spirit of a woman who lived there. The spirit told her that the tree will die if she leaves but she did anyway at the request of Kohane. Watanuki brought them to Domeki's temple where it was considered to be a "pure place" and the spirit of the woman started to be amongst the trees there. Kohane like Watanuki because he called her Kohane-chan, no one has ever called her her given name for a long time and Watanuki thought back of her mother. When Kohane came home, she was scolded by her mother and was told to rest.

Actually, because I've read the manga, it gets pretty boring to summarize. Although very interesting to watch. The thing about it is that because of the last few chapters of -HOLiC that have been released, I pretty much know what will happen and has reduced the suspense factor - well, most people do this especially if they are watching on-going anime but CLAMP works are so full of twists and sharp turns that once you get your answer, you have exceedingly high expectations of the anime. And the edge-of-your-seat factor has already worn off.

Vampire Knight - 05

Well... Chairman Cross gave Yuki a bracelet that, with Zero's blood, will enable her to control Zero's urges for blood because he's become afraid that he might end up killing the his next prey. The next day in class, a new Ethics teacher came who was Zero's master - a vampire hunter - so he kinga freaked out and ran out the classroon. The chaiman gave them pass to take the day-off so they went around town where they encountered another Level E vampire. Zero hesitated in killing him but Ichijou finished the job. That night, Ichijou invited the two to his birthday party promising to tell them about why they disposed of the Level E Vampire. In that party, they learned that Level E vampires were products of the vampires so they have the responsibility of disposing them and that Kaname was a pureblood - able to create vampires and have supernatural powers. Anyway, Zero started seeing the kind of behavior that vampires have (with all the finger-licking and blood sucking going around, got blood-lust again and ran off. Yuki ran after him as always and he was about to bite her, they fell into the pool (or pond) and was shot, identifying the person as his master.

OK, I'm actually not very much into the emo personality of Zero... I mean, he could be a little more personable seriously. But after reading the manga, I found their interaction with Yuki more heart-warming while I just get jeepers creepers when I see Kaname and Yuki together. Seriously, since I now know what will happen next, I am so looking forward to the next episode than this one. And here I thought it would actually happen here.

After panty thieves have tried to steal Fubuki's underwear so they can be sold for millions (apparently Naeka's can only be sold for 70,000 yen because she's a kendo girl), Naeka's inevitible rival has finally arrived - an English loli Elizabeth Strawberryfield who likes to wear strawberry-print underwear. She has a ninja maid of her own too, which has fallen victim to the Maid Guy. She wants to rid Naeka because she's the heires to her granfather's fortune. However, they never said that she had anything to do with it.

It's really incredible the way that the Male kendo Club a.k.a. The Fujiwara Naeka Chichi Fan Club would refuse Naeka's panties... well, until Liz mentioned that Naeka will probably give up her breasts for her underwear. Points!

Kyo Kara Maou Season 3 - 05 (83)

Well, Yuri and his man harem (minus Gunther who has to stay and look after the affairs of the kingdom) travels to Francshire for the wedding of its king Antoine and her faithful servant Lila. It seems strange that her mother was not that thrilled about the wedding but it had something to do with the country's tradition that once married, the queen will no longer be allowed to step out of the castle. Well, another thing is that they cannot get married without the Sword of the Earth which is part of the ceremony. Of course, always in the side of justice, Yuri and his party helps out. They found it and Antoine and Lila were able to get married. Then Antoine declared that a third of each year, the queen will be allowed to get out of the castle.

A few notable things about this anime is the inconsistencies in the art of the characters. There are a few scenes where Conrad looked like he was 12 years old (I would know because there is a past episode where he looked 12 though his age was not revealed there since Mazoku supposedly age slower. Anyway, there is also the creepy guys who keeps stealing valuable swords and propositioned Conrad so he can be given the kingdom of Dai Shimaron (which is actually a birthright of the Weller family before the Belal's took over). Anyway, I'm glad that they are utilizing filler episodes for things to unfold. Anyway, it's weird that Antoine was throwing Lila back to her village a little after the wedding. Men *roll eyes*

ANN announced that a continuation of Nodame Cantabile anime is currently in the works. This will cover Paris, which is generally the whole thing that moving forward from Volume 10. But there is no information if this is going to be a new season or an OVA like the j-drama which covered 3 whole volumes! Gosh! I'm so excited and I can't wait. The bitch there is that there have been no announcements when this is going to premiere yet. I am too excited I don't even care. Of course, I shall be stalking many NC fansites for announcements and stuff. That would mean more classical music for me ^_^

Kasahara and Commander Inamine were kidnapped by the Bakushuukai - a group of bald men in white suits. (The look more like a cult than a supporter of the Media Enhancement Group.) When they went back to the library to regroup, Dojo seems to be both guilty and saddened by the group abducting Kasahara, especially with the things that he told her (the image of him staring at Kasahara's desk makes any shoujo heart melt). When the Bakushuukai finally contacted the library corps, she gave hints about their location, which was deciphered by Shibasaki. But their exact location was given out by the prosthetic the Commander had and a contingent was put together headed by Dojo. He had this little monologue about her being a lot like him when he was younger, which melted my heart more * \^o^/ fangirl squeal * Anyway, in the end, they were rescued, Dojo apologized for telling her that she didn't have what it took to contribue to military power but of course, them being them, it turned into another shouting match. In the end, she turned Tezuka down (thank God!) and was planning to tell her parents about her job only to find out that they were already on their way for the visit.

I like this episode. Though lacking in KasaDojo moments (except for many many flashbacks of Episode 3) save for the near end, I love, love, love Dojo's monologue when he was thinking about Kasahara and how she is so like him when he was still younger. It was really telling the way that Kasahara saw her a vision of her Prince Charming just before Dojo and his contingent attacked. Just from the top my head (considering that it's probably impossible) that maybe considering that since Dojo was a lot like Kasahara when he was younger that maybe he's that Prince Charming. If this was 5-6 years go, it's not that far away. Oh well... maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself. Needless to say, this is my most favorite anime this season.

Aikawa, Usagi's editor, has made her appearance. She's a bijin(???) - well, that was according to Misaki - who happens to have a key to Usagi's place. High drama much in this episode. Misaki's finding himself jealous the close way Aikawa interacts with Usagi and thinks that maybe Usagi is not that gay as he says he is. Well, Usagi finally tells Misaki that he was in love with Misaki and have another set of mansex session. Then Usagi finally just how evil Aikawa is... he could have save his breath and just told Misaki that all the sex senarios in his BL novels are all requests of Aikawa.

In Hinano's summary of this epiosde, she mentioned that Aikawa was fugly and God forbid there be any beautiful women in yaoi. Well, I don't really think that she's fugly per se. But I have to admit... the art for her could be better. This is the first yaoi I've picked up so I can't really compare. But this is the third series I've picked up that was made by Studio DEEN and I would have to admit - between this, Kyo Kara Maou and Vampire Knight though the art of the women are OK, it seems to be made sure that the guys are super-duper dropdead hot. ^_^ Oh well, I enjoy bishies so I'm not really in the position to complain.

Kou's housekeeping skills (or lack thereof) are once again highlighted. I seriously thought that this episode has sunk it's level and resorted to the usual shoujo team of cute girl cannot cook thing. I cannot believe that they actually devoted an entire episode to it. But I guess it's OK, just to highlight that despite Kou's shortcomings, she can still kick ass when it comes to enchantments to the point where their opponent mentions that she had dragon's blood.

But still... Noboru's really cute when it comes to his concerns to computing for household expenses.

And apparently, the father is not as clueless as he seem... unlike most anime where children are visited/living with spirits.

All the morons from Class F want to head to college and start their lives but there was little hope eventhough their school is affiliated with the nearby college. Kotoko and her friends for Naoki to tutor them and the entire Class F followed suit, attacking the Irie home. Of course, everyone knew that Naoki wil undoubtedly end up in Tokyo University. But Naoki told her that he's been thinking of not going to college. She came to the point to ask him to go to college and help the economy of Japan. It was near Christmas and Kotoko wanted to give something to Naoki to thank him for all the help that he's given her and as a sorry for being so demanding all the time. As a present, she worked in a restaurant and she gave him a germanium bracelet. She mentioned something that out of all the people in the world, Naoki is the only one who can never see her like that.Of course, Naoki didn't give her anything so his mom told him that they should just let her have just one photo of the two of them scrunched together. Of course, he mocked her by saying the same words that she called out to a returning customer when he passed by the restaurant and saw Kotoko by chance.

OK... reactions... WTF is that gift??? A germanium bracelet??? My grandmother has one - didn't she even know that it was something for old people. But then again, the advertisement said that it was to relieve stress and that was probably the reason why she picked it up from him. If I were her, I would probably said, "Since you're always fatigued, you can use this maybe it can fix your personality." And Lord God... please Jinko have minimal speaking roles on the following episodes. Her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. Honestly, Naoki is a jackass making fun of her by mocking her about the work that she did to earn the money.

But all in all, this is one of the funniest episodes of Itazura na Kiss I've seen so far. XD

Special A - 04

Well, in this episode, we finally meet Takeshima's family (minus mom who working in Australia), mostly focusing on chibi Takehsima, Takeshima's little brother Sui - the neglected son of the Takeshima family who is often ignored by his family. Here, Hikari proves to be a crappy tutor. And when Hikari's attention was taken away by Takeshima once again, he started not liking Hikari as well. And Sui resents them for it especially since he thinks that his brother is a robot in a human's body.

There's something weird about with this episode. I think it was Hikari's hair pulled up lke that. Or maybe it was the dragonfly catching scene that took so long than it was absolutely necessary- I can't believe there are that many dragonflies in the Takeshima family home garden. Of course, there is the never ending seiyuu miscast, especially of Kei's father. Honestly, I want to like this anime because this is one of my fave manga but as it turns out, it's really becoming quite a disappointment. An episode seem to drag on and it focuses on only one thing. Fan expected this to be take over the throne of Ouran as one of the top love comedy shows but it's not meeting anyone's expectations. It just... lacked the brilliant pacing that Ouran had.

Vampire Knight - 04

So Yuki has finnaly discovered Zero, who is a member of a well-known family of vampire hunters, is a vampire. He was bitten by a pureblood when he was a small younger where he lost his mother, father and twin brother. Yuki was in despair about the whole thing, especially when they heard the headmaster and Kaname talking about having Zero transferred to the Night Class because he's just too dangerous to be around humans. Of course Yuki is in despair, Zero tried to run away, but he had his gun instead so he tried to kill himself. Yuki stopped him but he tried to get her to pull the trigger after pleading with her before he becomes a Level E Vampire. When she wouldn't, he took his bag and ran away but she chased after him telling him that everything was alright. The hug was saw by Kaname's very excellent night vision from a top floor of a school building.

OK, despite my being a kaname fangirl, I really, really felt so much for Zero. For the last two episodes, he has been walking around like a tortured soul ;_; I seriously hope that he and Yuki would just run away and make little vampire babies. Kaname is getting really creepy and I finally realized that he is like a stalker man - though if he's someone that hot, I wouldn't have minded if I was Yuki ^_^ Well, Kaname has already quasi-confessed to Yuki by telling her that she is his precious girl.

I haven't started with the manga because it's so long (yeah right, but here I am reading stuff like Tsubasa Resrvoir Chronicles and xxxHOliC). Anyway, without the canon, I'm basing everything that I've been reading... I don't know what is the significance much of drinking of someone's blood exclusively but it's some kind of a huge deal. So if Zero has drank Yuki's blood and she will become Zero's blood donor (probably in the following episode), would that make her... devirginized?

Anyway, I like this episode very much and I hope that they keep up the pace. As much as I like gags and funny moments in anime, when I watched this episode, I finally came to appreciate the drama that this story is meant to be.

Junjou Romantica - 03

Miyaki made no appearance in this one. This is sort of a flashback of sorts about a guy (Hiroki) who is a childhood friend of Usami who has been in love with him for so long. Well, he sort of slept with Usami telling him to pretend that he was Takahiro so he can show him his love for Usagi. But of course, by the time, Usagi called out Takahiro's name, it was over for Hiro. By the way, Hiroki is the assistant professor in the university Miyaki attended that Usagi borrowed the book from last episode. Anyway, he meets Nowaki after being dumped by Usagi who followed him a lot. Of course, Hiro was not the one to be picked up by some random guy but Nowaki keeps on coming by his apartment to be tutored so he can go to university after passing a high school proficiency exam. Anyway, Nowaki confessed his love for him and hoped that Hiroki would reciprocate. For some reason, he couldn't get him out of his head and started following him around.

Well, this episode is not a continuation of the second episode, this is actually a spin-off of Junjou Romantica called Junjou Egotist. Why? Because the progression of the manga places this after Usagi and Miyaki have mansex. Yes, I read the manga because it's shorter and only 5 volumes scanlated so far.

When Hinano posted her review of episode 4 (which isn't subbed yet), she mentioned something about an episode of Genshiken 2 where Oguie made a doujin about her friends where the primary characters are Sasahara and Madarame, I realized that this is actually my trigger for watching yaoi. Well, I've been hesitating because I've never been really into high drama anime, which is what I assumed yaoi to be. Seriously, how come characters in yaoi can tell their feelings outright and doesn't wait until the end of a season to affirm their feelings. Unlike in shoujo, where everyone go through so much before they even come around realizing that they are in love with each other. Gimme a break...

Vampire Knight ED ♪ Still Doll ♪ Wakeshima Kanon

When I watched the first episode of Vampire Knight, I was actually less than impressed with the OP. It sounded a little too... opening theme-ish, which is what is was supposed to be but it sounded so campy. But at the end of the first episode, they opened Still Doll and this is one of the best best songs and ED Sequences I have ever seen. It kinda gave me the creeps when I First saw it. The gothica theme of both the music and the sequence intrigued me and gave me goosebumps when I saw it. I'm still waiting for the single to come out and this will definitely be on top of my music list for many months to come

Well, it's been a couple of days since Night came into Riiko's life. And the due date of her free trial period is coming but without having to pay a 1 million yen for the repairs that Night has acquired since. There has been a lot. So she started taking a lot of parttime jobs to get the money together. And Night even pitched in saying that he will do anything for his girlfriend. Soshi tried to give/loan her the money but she refused... Also, Soshi has been persuading her to make cream puffs for him... something actually took him back to his childhoos when his grandfather was still alive. Soshi's also being criticized for not having enough drive and motivation to do his work.

Actually, watching this, I kinda already know how things are going to end in this show and it will probably have something to do with Soshi and Riiko and a sweet shop. Of course, the circumstances of that will be unknown, especially with Night hanging around. So I'm just gonna have to wait and see... XD

This episode features one of my most favorite parts of HOLiC - Dream Buying, which actually reminded me to no longer hear people's dreams ahd thank God that my nights remain usually dreamless. Thhe Dream Merchant is everything I read int he managa, except I actually expected his voice to be more childlike than that of an oji-san. Anyway, this episode is literally the manga come to life. Oh! Speaking of voice, I momentarily hear Lelouch in that part where Watanuki found out that Doumeki used to dress like a girl when he was younger. It seriously disturbs me.

Anyway, looking forward to the next episode with the introduction of Kohane-chan. But knowing what I now know about Kohane-chan... it seems sad.

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles - 188

Here goes CLAMP again... After weeks of no releases, they released the shortest chapter in the world (15 pages) with page-whole pictures - reminiscing Clover much???

Anyway, here the three boys ventured into the Ruins of Clow Country. Inside, as Syaoran thought, time has stopped even water. This is supposed to bve Sakura's purification ceremony and only she and Yukito were allowed in. As it turned out Sakura, with her powers, was supposed to succeed Yukito as being the priestess of Clow Country (maybe when he and Toya get married ^_^) Of course, Syaoran said that he said that he was always been with Sakura and that he had to pay Yuuko a price (seven years for Watanuki's life) to be able to get to Sakura at that time when she was to go for the ceremony. She had to do something, but what is it??? Anyone's guess is as good as mine.

So it's not true. You can stop people from dying, you just have to make the right wish of going back in time. I'm confused. Anyway, hoping a new release will come out Thursday.

Since almost every anime blogger has undoubtedly placed in their two cents on this week's episode of Geass, I will feature my WTF moments...

Kallen is wearing clothes??? Come to think of it... in this episode, she has been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay sexier in those clothes during the Knightmare fight sequence than any other shots of her in a bunny girl outfit or towel. Yet somehow, I sense fanboys are pissed at this episode for the lack of service.

Ahahahahahaha XD Guilford has Cornelia-hime-sama comemorative plate??? ^_^ I wonder if he has one by his bedside too???

Is it just me??? Or was there something terrible disturbing about how those guns were raised when they were given orders to execute The Black Knights???

Waaaah! Another rival (if you count Kasahara's ouji-sama) has appeared, threatening my happiness with getting KasaDojo together. Yes, I am totally watching this for potential rabu-rabu parts and to hell with the war. Tezuka has a lot of characteristics that would probably make Kasahara the luckiest girl in the world. But of course, I've already had my heart set out on the easily-angered chibi for the hot-headed baka. Anyway, she replied by telling him that she'll think about it... Then went on being assigned to a no-brainer job while the rest of her teammates are off to a battle, which kinda made me feel bad for her until she found herself in that situation... Really had Dojo eating his decision now, hehe...

Yuki mentioned having a hard time figuring out the weird war they're having and I think I kind of agree with the Internet and all. But I actually love books and spent the better part of grade school and high school and college in the library because I love books. Should such a thing happen, I'd prolly join the library corps as well. Seriously, I avoid using the Internet for my academic information as much as possible. Not that it would make me inept in Internet. But as I mentioned, I watch this for the KasaharaXDojo thing XD

Yay! Usami and Misaki finally have mansex. That was quick... only two episodes - if we don't count the one on the first episode where Usami molested Misaki (because it's unwanted). Misaki was being outcasted in school because they mistook him for either being a rich kid or they probably figured that they're gay but the subs mentioned that they mistook him for being a rich kid. Well, Misaki finally found a friend in school and Usami's jealous of him. Misaki's confused about his feelings because he sees himself as his brother's replacement for Usami afer nii-chan went off to Osaka.

I have come to realize (and it really really really REALLY pisses me off) that guys in yaoi are much much more romantic than guys in regular shoujo loverom anime, who are usually either morons or jerk-offs. ;_; Of course, the big thing that I find extremely intriguing about the yaoi genre is the high drama that a girl don't usually find in shoujo loverom. I think I'm starting to understand why there are girls who enjoy BL - like how girls would squeal over BL moments between Kaoru and Hikaru in Ouran Koukou Host Club. I think the old adage is true :( "The good ones are either married or gay."

I'm also digging the OP theme for this Kimi=Hana. Based on the little Japanese that I know, the lyrics are sweet and the beat is upbeat and rocky... I didn't actually expected something like this in a yaoi. Actually, I don't know exactly what I expected... probably some music with violins and shit like in the OP of true tears.

As to my initial hesitation of watching yaoi??? I figured, if I can watch Queer As Folk with a straight face, I should be able to do watch yaoi too. Even though the drama level's higher here than in QAF.

Ah~ Hot-Headed Baka and Easily-Angered Chibi... So cute!

I'm totally loving this episode! I happy~ with the funny and the many KasaDojo moments. They're absoltely priceless... especially the bear sequence. ^_^

Here, Kasahara has started her training for the Task Force... out in nature for the heck of it. And there's the moody guy Tezuka who is supposedly on top of their class - I don't like him. I mean I used to like the broody types before but I life the livelier ones nowadays. Anyway, he doesn't like Kasahara that much and even refuses to acknowledge her if she starts having accomplishments. At least Dojo is fair - compliments her when she deserves to be complimented and calls her a baka when she deserves to be called a baka - which will probably make up the dynamics of their relationship. They are seriously so cute - KasaDojo. Anyway, I love when Kasahara totally told Tezuka off about not being satisfied until he's number one at everything. And after the situation has been resolved, Tezuka asks her out. What the hell???

And whatever happened to Kasahara's ouji-sama???
